Think Melbourne is the only place that does rooftop drinks in the winter? Think again, because we have found a little rooftop bar in Sydney that has transformed into a warm winter wonderland.

The rooftop terrace at the East Village in Darlinghurst is a little hidden favourite of ours. And this winter the menu showcases the classic winter warmers your nan used to make, like minestrone soup with root vegetables, beef Wellington and marshmallows to toast on an open fire. Yes, a real fire, on a rooftop! Take that, Melbz!

How's The Serenity

As you gaze upon the city skyline you can do so under a canopy of 4,000 fairy lights, with a luxe lambswool throw around your shoulders as you sip on mulled wine.

If you're more of a winter day drinker (no judgement) then you may be interested in their weekend Bloody Mary Buffet with $40 bottomless Mary's. Now that's enough vitamin C to keep the flu at bay this winter!

The winter garden is here all through winter, Tuesday to Sunday from 5pm till 11pm. Keep up to date via their Facebook page.
