Kids Circle: After-School Activity Centre & School Holiday Camps in Chatswood

Kids Circle in North Shore-Sydney (Chatswood), offers various and well-balanced extracurricular classes taught by qualified and specialised teachers, all under one roof.

Their proposition is completely different to an after-school care. They offer opportunities for children to be exposed to and involved in different structured extracurricular classes to broaden their abilities and interests.

Claim your weekends back! They give your child the opportunity to attend extracurricular classes during the week so you can spend your weekends relaxing and enjoying quality time with your family.

• Kids ages 5-8 and 9-12 years old.
• Operation days: Monday to Thursday from 3-6pm.
• All the teachers have WWCC (Working with children check) and First Aid accreditation

Kids Circle offers:

• Pick-up from school (check availability)
• A different class each day, taught by specialised teachers in their fields
• Supervised homework
• Healthy snacks
• Late pick-up (6:30pm max) upon request

Extracurricular Classes - Choose from the following classes depending on the days:
Monday: Languages (Mandarin or Spanish) (Boys and girls 5-12yrs): Mandarin and Spanish classes for native and non-native speaker. Our course starts from learning at elementary level and will cover conversation, reading and writing skills through easy expression and interesting stories. Their Mandarin and Spanish teachers are passionate about working with children and have plenty of experience in their fields.

Tuesday: Visual Arts (Boys and girls 5-12yrs): Kids Circle offers Visual Arts classes where children will have the opportunity to explore and learn different subjects such as painting, clay, ceramics, drawing and origami. Visual Arts class in on Tuesday and their teacher is a graduate from the prestigious Saint Martins School of Art in London and has showcased her artworks internationally. Class duration: 1 hour.

Wednesday: Performing Arts (Boys and girls 5-12yrs): Kids Circle offers Performing Arts Classes for boys and girls interested in Jazz and Contemporary movement. Through dancing, children develop a greater range of movement, imagination and self-esteem, they learn to interpret the effect their movement has on the world around them and to work and perform within a group environment. Dancing improves a child’s coordination, physical development and level of fitness. Their teacher is a professional dancer and choreographer with extensive national and international experience in her field.  

Thursday: Martial Arts (Karate) Duration of the class: 1 hour (within 3-6pm) (Boys and girls 5-12yrs old): Kids Circle has partnered with “Karate for Kids” to run their Martial Arts program. Karate for Kids is a well established and long running Martial Arts school in the North Shore area. In thier classes the students are taught confidence boosting strategies as well as practical self-defence skills. They end every lesson with a feeling of accomplishment and one of empowerment. The classes are non-competitive. Progress and improvement is acknowledged by regular testing and students are encouraged to participate in the colour belt gradings that take place at the end of every term. Their instructors are all qualified Black Belt experienced martial artists and excellent role models for the students.

Kids Circle - School Holiday Programs: Kids Circle runs a fun, creative and active School Holiday Program each term. Kids are divided into two groups, 5-8 years old and 9-12 years old, and all the activities are tailored to suit each group. Each term something different your children will love!
