Camp Cove Beach

Camp Cove is an idyllic beach near Watson’s Bay, shallow, protected and truly beautiful with a little kiosk serving snacks.

Perfect for paddling and kid friendly swimming, Camp Cove is also a popular dive site – see octopus as well as cuttlefish, frogfish and the occasional see horse, and good snorkeling round the rocks.

Not too much in the way of shade for kids, a few overhanging trees in the corner of the beach, so come prepared with sun-tent or umbrella if you plan to stay all day. There are shower facilities, and toilets are located at Green Point Reserve at the southern end.

Parking is very limited here around Cliff Street and Victoria Street, so arrive VERY early to secure a spot in high summer.
