Winnererremy Bay Flying Fox Park (Gated)

Winnererremy Bay has been voted the “best park in Sydney” and it really is that good. The Parkland itself is contains barbeques, picnic shelters, bike paths and a beach. There is plenty of open space to throw a ball or fly a kite-whatever takes your fancy.

The first class, fully fenced playground caters for young children in a dedicated tiny tots area and older children in a separate playground. There is a dry creek bed/adventure trail which contains stone carvings of sea creatures like crabs, fish, dolphins and starfish and the interesting equipment includes a space net, skate areas and snakes & ladders. Of course, the oversized Flying Fox is the main attraction here.

The Park also caters for adults with the inclusion of the very ‘child friendly’ Flying Fox Cafe which  which allows parents to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee or easy lunch while the kids have fun. There’s a good kids menu and a great selection of toys on offer.
