A white Christmas is nothing compared to a toasty warm Christmas in the city Down Under, especially when its streets are sprinkled with lights and the beautiful harmonies of angelic choirs. There’s no shortage of Christmas concerts and places to hear carols in Sydney.

1. Carols In The Park

Carols in the Park will be held on Monday 18th December at Halliday Park, McGrath Ave, Five Dock. Save the date for an evening of carols, children activities, entertainment and Christmas cheer with your family and friends. 

2. Carols Under The Bridge Milsons Point

Set against the stunning backdrop of Sydney Harbour, Carols Under the Bridge is one of Sydney’s fastest growing Christmas events. This year, thousands of people will join together in the Christmas spirit and join the local community at Bradfield Park, Kirribilli, on Saturday December 9th. More info here. 

3. The Magic Of Christmas At The Concourse

Celebrate the magic of Christmas at this enchanting concert for the whole family on Sunday 10 December 2017! Led by renowned conductor, Stephen Mould and featuring special guest soprano, Taryn Fiebig,experience the full glory of the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra and Choir as they perform all your favourite carols in a memorable festive celebration for the young and young at heart. 4. Alexandria Village Christmas Concert

Experience the magic of Christmas at a free family-friendly concert with a visit from Santa. Hosted by Jimmy Giggle and featuring children’s favourites Nay Nay Let’s Play, The Listies, the Australian Girls Choir and Caravana Sun. Kids will enjoy the craft activities, and can play table tennis and giant Jenga with our Christmas elves. Santa stocking jam-packed with goodies will be on sale for $5. More info here. 

5. Surry Hills Village Christmas Concert

Kick off your Christmas celebrations at this free family-friendly concert. Hosted by Jimmy Giggle and featuring children’s favourites Justine Clarke, Bananas in Pyjamas, The Listies and Brown Sugar. Kids will enjoy the craft activities and can play table tennis and giant Jenga with our Christmas elves. Santa stockings jam-packed with goodies will be on sale for $5. Santa will make a special guest appearance, and the night will close in a glittering fireworks display. More info here. 

6. Carols By the Sea

Sing to your heart's delight at this year's Carols by the Sea! Welcome in the festive season at this year's Carols by the Sea at Bondi Beach. This merry annual event brings the community together to celebrate the spirit of Christmas. With children's entertainment, Christmas tunes and carol singing, it's a great way to celebrate the festive season. It promises to be a fun night for everyone, so make sure to get down to Bondi Park, Bondi Beach for this free, festive, community event! 7. The Lights of Christmas at St Mary’s Cathedral

St Mary’s Cathedral will again be the star of Sydney’s public Christmas celebrations, with the Lights of Christmas returning to capture the imagination of audiences with a spectacular light and sound show. There will be carols at 7.30pm each evening to kick off the show. More info here. 

8. Carols in the City Martin Place

From the 26 December until Christmas Eve, choirs will sing carols under the branches of the interactive Christmas tree. Come along and get into the festive spirit! There will be a heap of performers, see the full list here. 

9. Coogee Carols

A beachside Christmas celebration. The Coogee Carols will be held at Goldstein Reserve, Coogee Beach from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Sunday 17 December 2017. Locally based celebrities and personalities volunteer their time to appear at the Coogee Carols, performing traditional and contemporary carols, supported by a twelve piece band, and of course a special appearance by Santa. Large Screens are placed at Goldstein Reserve to ensure that everyone can see the performances. More info here. 

10. Carols in the Domain
