Granville Park Playground and Water Play

This popular 13.2 hectare park takes its name from the nearby suburb of Granville, as its actually situated in the suburb of Merrylands.

The park facilities includes seating, picnic tables and shelters, BBQs, sporting fields, a cricket pitch, cricket nets, a basketball court and a new water play area recently built next to the children’s playground.

What we love about the this new splash pad is that it is a sustainable water play area! It’s built to continuously collect and recycle its own water. The play fountains, sprays and tipping buckets can dump about 1600 litres a minute. Also in vein of conserving water, nothing is wasted as it automatically switches off when it’s not used. But parents, don’t worry – just push the button and the kids will be all happily wet again!

The water park’s opening times are 9am to 6.30pm in summer, 10am to 3.30pm in spring and autumn, and closed during winter.
